You Should Always Protect Yourself In The Sun

Published by Jack under More Acne Information Edit This

Thousands of years ago people worshiped the sun and considered it one of the sacred things in the world. Even in todays world that continues. Science on the other hand has discovered several issues with prolonged sun exposure and cautions people to avoid being in the sun to long.

Research has showed that extensive exposure to the sun’s rays can cause several forms of skin damage such as sunburns and more importantly skin cancer. Being in the sunlight for an extensive amount of time can allow the UV rays from the sun to cause damage to the layers of skin and many times this damage is irreversible.

To avoid causing damage to your delicate skin make sure that you protect yourself. Sunscreen with a SPF15 or better is the most important thing you can do to protect yourself. You should also invest and wear protective clothes along with a high quality pair of sunglasses. By taking small precautions daily you will run a lover risk of being affected by an illness that could be long term and even fatal.

If you have acne prone skin then you will need to look into sunscreens that are oil free or made especially for those with acne. You can find a great list of these sunscreen care products listed here: Acne Suncare Products

Keeping the Pimples Away

Published by Jack under More Acne Information Edit This

Experts have said that although acne can be a horrible problem it is most often not a permanent issue in terms of it’s severity. Many of the outbreaks that people experience might over time lessen but the severity will be triggered by a common trigger.

If you are hit by an outbreak of acne you will then need to treat it. But the most important key to having less acne outbreaks is to prevent them. By avoiding dusty areas, removing your make-up before bed along with exfoliating and using moisturizers daily you will see that your acne outbreaks will decrease in both frequency and severity.

For the best and safest results when treating and preventing acne you need to first know what type of skin you have. This will help you to avoid products that are not correct for your skin type and could have adverse affects.

Don’t Squeeze Those Pimples!

Published by Jack under More Acne Information Edit This

Acne is the most common skin issue amongst both men, women and teens. This is what causes so many people to visit a dermatologist. By getting professional help you can get the help you need to get your acne, no matter how severe it is, under control.

Many people however have a hard time keeping themselves from touching, squeezing or pinching their pimples. If this is you here is a little bit of information that might help you keep your hands from touching. Permanent scarring is the result of forcibly causing the pimple explode. This means that every time you pinch or squeeze a pimple you are running the risk of scaring your skin. It might be hard to avoid the urge to get rid of those pimples right away by squeezing it, but do your best to avoid doing that!

So instead of squeezing keep some cleanser on hand to be able to clean your face and skin often. If you keep your skin clean the amount of acne that will continue to appear on your face will diminish.

Pregnancy can affect your skin

Published by Jack under More Acne Information Edit This

During your pregnancy your whole body is in an uproar. There are so many changes happening in your body from the mental side of things to the physical changes that happen over the nine months of pregnancy. This affects everything in your body, so things are good while other things are not so great.

With all the changes of course your skin is going to be affected also. Your skin is the one organism that holds your entire body together so of course there are going to be some changes to it also.

The biggest change happens because your body and skin must grow and stretch to be able to allow room for your new baby growing inside of you. This can cause stretch marks to appear. Stretch marks are those bluish, purple or red marks that will appear usually on your stomach and breast.

Many woman also experience an iron deficiencies during their pregnancy. This lack of or lower amount of iron in the body will cause your skin to appear pale and you might also notice that dark circles appear under your eyes. If you see this happening it might be a good time to talk to your doctor about taking an iron supplement during your pregnancy.

How can stress affect the skin?

Published by Jack under Acne Information Edit This

Being that your skin is the one organism that hold every part of your body in place, it is the one part of the body that is exposed to both the external issues along with those that happen internally.

This is why you will usually notice that when there is an issue in your life, whether it is internal or external your skin will become different and might result in an acne break out. An example of an external issue is if you were to start working in a fast food establishment, there is a lot of grease in the air. This grease will be apparent on your face and could clog your pores, which would cause acne. An example of an internal issue is when you have more stress in your life, causing your skin to feel the stress too.

If you lead a stressful life you will soon be able to tell by not only the acne on your face but also from the lines that will appear over time. Remember that your skin is the one thing everyone sees first, you want to make a good impression.

Should I use Sunscreen when I have acne?

Published by Jack under More Acne Information Edit This

With summer here and the sun is out every day with hot, harmful rays more and more people are thinking about sunscreen. While you should really wear sunscreen all year long, even in the winter most people don’t think about it until summer time.

For people who do not suffer from acne picking a sunscreen is quick and easy. You choose the SPF you want, grab it and go. But for those who suffer from acne and acne breakouts picking a sunscreen is harder than just grabbing it from the shelf.

If you have acne you need to worry about how much oil you are adding to your skin from the sunscreen. This can be a difficult situation when you’re not sure which one to pick. There are many sunscreens that are oil free or made just for those who suffer from acne. While they might be a bit more expensive they are well worth it to keep from having a breakout.

You can check out reviews on different sunscreens that are made just for those who are suffering from acne or need a less oily sunscreen by following this link: Reviews On SunScreen For Acne Prone Skin

Getting rid of those nasty whiteheads

Published by Jack under Acne Information Edit This

Although the whitehead might seem easy to deal with and treat than the blackheads, they are even worse than the blackheads due to the fact they appear because of a different, more serious, issue.

Whiteheads appear because the oil or sebum as a doctor would say, accumulated and sits inside the skin causing acne. Because the grease is so clogged into the pores they are exposed to a greater amount of air that causes them to appear white in color instead of black.

The best way to treat the whiteheads on your skin is to use a deep pore cleanser to take the problem. You can also mix together both skin tonic and beauty grains to use on your skin. This mixture will be mild on your skin while still getting deep into the problem.

To avoid causing your skin to scar, never try to pop the whiteheads or use any kind of force to remove them. The pores where the whiteheads are sitting are not open and forcing them to open to let out the whiteness will only add to your issue.
