How can I help my teen deal with his acne?
Most importantly thing to do is to show how important skin care is. It might be harder to deal with in boys, but get started in the early ages, and there will be no problems. Also keep an eye on black heads that might appear on your teen’s nose and forehead. Education is also important; teach him all there is to know about acne and how to recognize it from the beginning.
Teens are also very sensitive about their appearance. They see a slight blemish and mark it as a ruin on their lives. Don’t play down to this, when they want to talk, be willing to listen, but not make more out of what is just a few spots.
