Published by Jack at 5:12 pm under More Acne Information Edit This

Most people associate acne with the hormonal imbalances that occur during adolescence therefore they are confused why they are still suffering from acne later in life.  If acne was that simple to explain every teenager would be able to fix the solution easily, but it is not.  Stress, diet, and genes are all also contributing factors to chronic acne outbreaks.  Do adults also suffer from stress, diet, and genetic diseases?  Well there is your answer.  Try to cut back on the stress in your life and eliminate excessive amounts of sugar, fast food, and artificial preservatives from your diet.  Unless your genes are at fault, in which case a dermatologist can help you, these simple steps can help keep your face clean.

Look into accutane if it is genetic. A lot of insurance companies will cover it. I was treated with it about 7 years ago and have had no problem with acne since.
