Should I see a dermatologist about my acne?

Published by Jack at 10:27 am under More Acne Information Edit This

Some people’s acne will never go away with over the counter medications because chemical imbalances are why acne keeps reoccurring.  This is why many dermatologists will put their patients on birth control to help regulate hormone production in the body.  If you have been suffering from chronic acne for a significant amount of time and it is starting to cause depression in you, by all means, go see the dermatologist.  No matter what the cause, a dermatologist can always help you get to the root of acne problems and make you feel better about your appearance.  Plus, many health insurance providers will cover your treatment so review your policy to see if this is the case.

Other than that, Facial Hygiene must also be looked into other than concentrating on hormone imbalance treatment. I was once a sufferer but I managed to overcome that.

For most of the people suffering from acne, it is genetical. In my opinion they should definitely visit a dermatologist to control it.
