Acne Help For Those Who Suffer From Acne

You really should not be popping a pimple at all because doing so while alleviating the swelling for a time being, is only most likely going to make the pimple worse and potentially cause scarring.  Dermatologists disagree over if it is really ever helpful given most times you are releasing bacteria all over your face when you do so.  It goes hand in hand with the myth that a cut needs air to heal.  Really neither of these is true, but it seems to make us feel better to assume they are.

If vanity is getting the best of you; try applying a heavily concentrated benoxl vanishing medication on the pimple overnight before popping it.  If you must, don’t use your fingers to pop the pimple as you are simply getting more bacteria on the area and running the risk of infection.  Use a q-tip or a disinfected needle to gently pop the surface and then use tissues to hold the pimple until it is dry.  Immediately apply acne medication with benoxl peroxide or if you do not have any at least apply hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol to clean the area and help prevent the risk of scarring.
