Will vitamin A help clear acne?

Published by Jack at 1:12 pm under More Acne Information Edit This

The answer is yes and no.  Vitamin A along will not cure acne, but since poor nutrition is a cause of acne, taking a multi-vitamin to help enhance all aspects of your vitamin deficiencies will improve your health in turn helping to clear up your acne and rebuild your health.  Simply taking one vitamin, rather it be vitamin A, or other rumored vitamins such as vitamin E and B5 is not going to balance your health which means you are not getting any closer to clear skin.  The real concern here should be your health, with a clear face as a welcome side effect.

Vitamin A can be found in a wide range of foods such as carrots, sweet potatoes, cantaloupe, winter squash, turnip greens, kale, pumpkins and so much more. Eating foods that are good for you will help not only your acne but your overall health.
