What causes chin acne?
The causes of chin acne are not much different than normal acne. Although chin acne is more likely to appear in adults, its causes are still the same problem just exhibited in a different location on the face. Changes in your hormones are likely to play an imminent role in your chin acne, and unfortunately that is something you have little control over outside of taking, or not taking your birth control pill. There are some adult medicines, like cortisone that can cause acne, but most likely the acne on your chin is simply caused from a combination of poor nutrition, genetics, hormone changes, and an increased build up of oil on your face.
