Are there healthy foods that cause acne?
Although many foods such as bananas and corn are rumored in to cause acne because they are high in sugar which some people believe causes an insulin surge leading to acne inflammations, most research is inconclusive towards actually proving that the food is directly at fault for causing your acne. Therefore, if you really think that a type of food is causing your acne, simply stop eating it for awhile. Chances are you are not going to see any drastic change in your acne, because what is more likely causing your acne are poor nutrition and a bad diet.
To help your acne instead of cutting healthy foods out of your diet take out the unhealthy foods. Not only will this give you a more balanced diet but will also give you more energy to do the things you love to do.
