What is the hard substance in a pimple?

Published by Jack at 1:21 am under More Acne Information Edit This

Pimples generally do not have a hard substance to them, but there is a skin condition found in many people that have fair skin that resemble a pimple.  What you probably have is called milia which is a tiny white bump or a small cyst that forms on the skin because dead skin gets trapped in the pores on your face, and remains there until it is released.  Milia is not a cause for any concern except pure vanity. This is actually what is commonly referred to as baby acne which commonly will clear up on its own for babies.  For adults however, since they have stopped growing, the only real way to get rid of them if you are worried about appearance is to see a dermatologist who can use electricity to zap them away.
